With all the hype surrounding the PSP’s Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep, the Nintendo DS counterpart; Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days isn’t really getting much attention. Due to this, not much is really known about the game – other than the fact that it will tell the story of Roxas’ life in Organization XIII.
A Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days trailer does exist, however it was only shown in a closed mega theatre meaning that the closest the public are going to get to it is a description. The trailer begins with Roxas and Axel sitting atop of the clock tower in Twilight Town, this scene is the same scene that’s shown in Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix+. Shortly after, the video shows a clip of Roxas been invited into Organization XIII eventually fading into a scene of Roxas actually joining Organization XIII.
Shortly afterwards the trailer cuts to a scene of in game combat, from this clip we know that the player has the choice to play as either Roxas, Axel, Saix or Xigbar. The fact that you have a choice of who to play as suggests that Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days will be a multi-player title, as it’s something that the development team of Birth By Sleep wanted to do; but couldn’t.
Towards the end of the trailer a clip is shown of Xemnas saying that a fourteenth member has joined Organization XIII (shouldn’t that be Organization XIV?) and that’s she’s a female. The trailer finally ends with the title of the game “Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days”, and a whispering Roxas saying “I will disappear from this world in 151 days…”
